The first batch of Campers, Artists, and guests, all landed in Dumaguete at around 7:30am this morning. They were picked up by the 7101 Music Nation team and went straight to the Bahura Beach Resort and Spa, the venue of this years Camp. After checking-in, a number of them had breakfast and were given the whole afternoon to relax and get ready for the welcome night party in the evening.

Here we go again! The 2011 edition of the Elements Camp kicked off with the now traditional Artist Briefing held at the brand new Tao Amphitheater along Pasong Tamo. Both returning and new artists were welcomed by Ryan Cayabyab, and were given the scoop on what changes the Camp this year would undertake. This was of course after an amazing lunch was prepared for them by the hosts. It was a fun afternoon where everyone was genuinely happy to see each other after sharing an amazing five days in Dumaguete last year. 

He is a renowned musician, producer, educator, writer, television personality, workshop facilitator, and activist. After conquering Filipino audiences as one third of the legendary group APO Hiking Society, he tries his hand being solo with his debut album entitled “Laro.”

People have begun to arrive here in Dumaguete! Everyone is excited for the 1st Elements National Songwriting Camp to begin! After months of preparation, the different artists, campers, media, and guests have begun to arrive at the different ports fo the the city. There is a nice vibe among everyone involved, and people are taking the time out to get to know each other. It looks like it is going to be a fun couple of days here in Negros Oriental!
